Ground Zero Complex, Zvishavane
Zero Degrees Ice is Shingar Group’s ice production and supply brand. Our 1,000kg daily-capacity ice plant is located at the Ground Zero complex in Zvishavane. The brand prides itself on producing safe ice and operates under the mantra “Ice is food”, and it should be rightly treated as such throughout the production process.
Our ice is made from purified, filtered and ultraviolet-disinfected water, and is hygienically packed. We are dedicated to consumer enjoyment, product availability, service and our customers’ success, while continuing to gain market share by entering new markets with a consistently quality product.
High standards
Our refrigerated trucks ensure delivery of the highest quality ice. The water used to make our ice passes through a 0.5-micron filter, which removes all dirt, odours and tastes, enabling us to supply pure, hygienic ice.
To ensure top quality, our hygiene standards are randomly checked by independent micro laboratories. Our food-safety system is audited and we follow HACCP principles. Certification is available to all our clients upon request.

Certified & audited
We are the only Zimbabwean company currently undergoing the IPIA international certification process and working towards SAZ certification. We also undergo quarterly health, safety and hygiene audits by reputable international companies, and are listed as a preferred supplier to several large retailers and leisure centres.
Cold-chain logistics
Cold-chain (or chill-chain) logistics is the transport of temperature-controlled goods such as temperature-sensitive foods, beverages and bio-pharmaceutical products. We are committed to transforming the cold storage and delivery of perishable goods to help more products reach more markets, and we never compromise on product safety.
We manage clients’ products in reliable, efficient temperature-controlled storage facilities offering frozen, chilled, ambient-controlled and ambient storage, equipped with real-time temperature monitoring and backup power generators.
Transport & distribution
We specialise in transport solutions for frozen, chilled and ambient goods, offering dedicated short-haul, point-to-point distribution. Services include door-to-door delivery, customised runs and cargo consolidation, plus last-mile distribution for quick-service restaurants, retail outlets, restaurants and hotels.
We also work with small-scale and commercial farmers to minimise post-harvest losses, with cooling boxes at collection points, cooling and curing facilities, and temperature-controlled transport to market. Mobile refrigerated trailers are also available for hire.
